Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), also known as Nhava Sheva Port, is India’s largest container port that handles nearly 50% of India’s containerized cargo among major ports and is ranked among the top 30 container ports globally. It operates five container terminals and is India’s first 100% landlord port, where all berths are managed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. JNPA is a critical hub for EXIM trade, connected to over 200 global ports and supported by strong rail-road connectivity, including the Dedicated Freight Corridor. It also manages a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and is expanding through projects like the Vadhvan Port and multiple dry ports.
